Grow, Learn & Get Fit on Canal Walk
Potomac Community Village celebrates Active Aging Week, invites community to walk with them on Saturday, Sept 29

Promoting the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, Potomac Community Village (PCV) calls on all its members and their guests to participate in a Walk on the Canal, on Saturday, September 29th beginning at 9:30 am. The group will meet at the Great Falls Tavern. Combining physical activity with social connections in a beautiful, accessible Montgomery County location, walkers will proceed along the River Trail for about a total of two miles, out and back.
With the theme of “Inspiring Wellness,” Active Aging Week, September 23-29, 2018, is a national effort structured to give older adults the opportunity to experience diverse activities and exercise in a safe, friendly
and fun atmosphere. PCV walkers will traverse the distance at their own pace and may then choose to stop at the Canal refreshment stand for drinks, snacks and gathering and socializing with other walkers.
RSVP’s are required by Thursday, September 27 to 240-221-1370 or to info@PotomacCommunityVillage.org. Please include name and Mobile phone number to be advised of any event plan changes on Saturday morning.
