Potomac's Team Nite Lites Takes MD Senior Olympics Title
Maryland Senior Olympics, basketball, Nite Lites, 3-on-3.
Team Nite Lites® recently won the men’s 50-54 age group 3-on-3 Maryland Senior Olympic Games basketball title.
Constantine Pergantis (Potomac), Kirk Kley (Wootton HS/Germantown), Jerome Cooper (District Heights), and Emery Atkinson (Miami FL) went undefeated this fall at the White Oak Community Center. Cooper was the leading scorer with 30 ppg.
Last December, Pergantis & Atkinson, along with Michael Kelley (Bradenton, FL), won the Florida Senior Olympics, where Pergantis had a game-high of 42 points and averaged 32 ppg in the tournament held in Ft. Myers.

The winners go on to the United States Senior Games to be held in July.

Note: Kley was part of a Wootton HS State Championship in 1983. Atkinson played pro basketball in Australia. Cooper played professionally in Europe. Kelley recently was the MVP of an international tournament.
