'Real Housewives Of Potomac': 2nd Season Ordered

Bravo's "Real Housewives of Potomac" has been renewed for another season, and may add ladies. Who would you replace?

POTOMAC, MD — Whose relationship is on the rocks, does the grand dame of DC society in fact rule, and who has the best handle on race relationships?

All of these topics will hashed out at length – along with critiques of fashion, parties and homes – when a second season of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” airs later this year. Bravo cable network said Thursday that it has ordered a second season of the reality show.

Season one averaged 2.1 million total viewers, according to Nielsen Live+3 data. This marks Bravo’s highest-rated freshman series since “Vanderpump Rules” among key demographics and “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” in total viewers.

Bravo executives aren’t commenting, but The Washington Post says that the network is chatting with women about joining the RHOP cast. Whether that’s to add to the cast, or replace some of the initial members, isn’t clear.

Reality Tea reports that the cast members most in jeopardy of continuing with the series are: Charrisse Jackson Jordan, whose troubled marriage may be wearing on fans; Robyn Dixon, who lives with her former husband; and Katie Rost, who has been deemed boring by some viewers as she pursues an engagement ring.

Last Sunday, in the first part of a RHOP reunion episode, viewers learned:

Katie Rost had called off her engagement to her longtime boyfriend, Andrew Martin.

Rost then threw Bryant under the bus for renting her home and then took on Huger, saying, “Karen is not the grand dame of Potomac. That’s not true … There’s a delusional sense of entitlement.”

Dixon – who lives with ex-husband Juan Dixon — said neither is dating anyone else, but they’re not in a committed relationship. To muddy the waters more, she said there is a real chance the pair will remarry.

In Reunion Part Two, airing at a new time on Sunday, April 17, at 8pm ET, the network says: Katie's revelation about her relationship with Andrew leaves everyone wondering if she's headed down the aisle or out the door. Karen's husband, Ray, and Ashley's husband, Michael, join the ladies to weigh in on Michael's surprise visit to the girls' beach trip and his dance-floor butt grab that sent shockwaves through Potomac. Charrisse reveals just how close her marriage is to destruction and Gizelle and Katie battle over shocking allegations, leaving all the women to wonder who's right and who's wrong.”
