First class mail shipped by close-of-business on Dec. 20 likely to arrive before Christmas.
Post offices serving Hyattsville, Riverdale Park and University Park were a bit busier than normal this morning as area residents lined up to get their packages and letters shipped before the holidays.
Those procrastinators among us will be forced to use priority mail (pre-Christmas arrival shipping deadline Dec. 21) and express mail (pre-Christmas arrival shipping deadline Dec. 22).
