"As we continue to engage students in instruction through distance learning and finalize the distribution of devices to elementary students, Prince George’s County Public Schools will extend the daily offerings of instructional videos on PGCPS-TV through Friday, October 16 for first through fifth-grade students.

Prekindergarten and kindergarten lessons will be discontinued Friday, October 2 now that those students have received a digital device for distance learning.

Students who participate in distance learning on PGCPS-TV are required to submit assignments by email or upload a document or photo of the completed assignment using the Google Classroom app for mobile devices. Each televised lesson includes an activity for students to complete. Assignments should be submitted weekly for each day that students participate in distance learning.

Instructional videos are available through Verizon Channel 38, Comcast Channel 96, or PGCPS-TV online. Rebroadcasts of lessons are available at any time on PGCPS-TV online. Assignments can be viewed at the end of each lesson on TV or online at http://bit.ly/TVAssign.

All students who solely access instruction through PGCPS-TV should continue to check in with their teachers by phone on Wednesdays for small group meetings."
