Police Seek Identity Of Riverdale Homicide Victim

Detectives are working to identify a homicide victim who was found in Riverdale Sunday morning.

RIVERDALE, MD — Detectives are working to identify a homicide victim who was found in Riverdale Sunday morning, police said.

At about 4:40 a.m. Sunday, patrol officers responded to the 6200 block of 60th Ave. for a welfare check. The officers discovered the victim in the roadway and he was pronounced dead a short time later at a hospital.

An autopsy revealed the man died from multiple injuries unknown cause and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.

Police describe the victim as a Hispanic man approximately 35-40 years old. He does not have any distinguishing marks or tattoos on his body. His name will be released once he’s been identified and after his family is notified, police said.

Detectives are also working to identify the suspect(s) and motive in this case.
