Riverdale Man Shot To Death; PG County Police Investigate
Prince George's County homicide detectives are investigating a Saturday night fatal shooting that left a Riverdale man dead.
RIVERDALE, MD — Homicide detectives from the Prince George's County Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting that took place Saturday night in Riverdale, according to a police report. Police identified the deceased victim as Adam Hartman, 18, of Riverdale.
Around 8 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 6000 block of 67th Ave., for the report of a shooting. Arriving on the scene, they found Hartman in an apartment building suffering from gunshot wounds. A short time later, he was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
PGPD detectives are working to determine a motive and identify the suspect in this incident.
