Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Chico, Bambi, Leo, Ungus, Honey Bunny

ROCKVILLE, MD — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at Montgomery County's adoption center. The facility houses dozens of cats, dogs, and other adorable critters. And all of them need a furever home.

Here, we've rounded up a list of five adoptable pets for a series called "Patch's Adoptable Pets of the Week." This week, we're featuring Chico, Bambi, Leo, Ungus, and Honey Bunny.

CHICO

Name: Chico - ID#A460015
Sex, Breed: Neutered male, tan American Pit Bull Terrier.
Age: Approx. 5 years old.
Arrived at Shelter: Nov. 28, 2020.

Shelter staff made the following comments about this animal: Chico is such a model! He loves attention and playing with toys in the yard! Chico is a strong boy and makes for some very fierce tug-o-war competition. And he's a great puller — We can already picture him mushing his future family up a hill to sled on snowy winter days. Chico is 4 years old and is waiting to be adopted by his forever family (or person)! He's a big sweetheart who took a minute to come out of his shell at the shelter, but once he blossomed, we got to see just how big his personality is. If you're looking for a LOT of fun, Chico is your guy.
