Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Simba, Sweetie, Shelby, Cleo, Uggsy

ROCKVILLE, MD — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at Montgomery County's adoption center. The facility houses dozens of cats, dogs, and other adorable critters. And all of them need a furever home.

Here, we've rounded up a list of five adoptable pets for a series called "Patch's Adoptable Pets of the Week." This week, we're featuring Simba, Sweetie, Shelby, Cleo, and Uggsy.

SIMBA

Sex, Breed: Neutered male, gold Labrador Retriever.
Age: Approx. 8 months old.
Arrived at Shelter: April 27, 2021.

Shelter staff made the following comments about this animal: HI HI HI HI I'M SIMBA! I like doggy friends and people friends, but not the vacuum, that thing is scary! I'm a young boy with lots of energy so I'll need a family that will teach me how to be the BEST BOY (not that I'm not already, gosh!) and help me get my puppy energy out! Like most labs I LOVE my food and snacks so I'd do best in home with kids that understand to leave me alone while I eat and snack! I could also definitely live with the right doggy friend!

SWEETIE

Name: Sweetie - ID#A475622
Sex, Breed: Spayed female, gray tab and white Domestic Shorthair.
Age: Approx. 5 years old.
Arrived at Shelter: April 26, 2021.

Shelter staff made the following comments about this animal: Bella and Sweetie are a gorgeous pair of sister cats that are very attached to each other, so we're looking for a home that will adopt both of them!
