Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Spike, Pi, Lola, Mickey, Supergirl

ROCKVILLE, MD — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at Montgomery County's adoption center. The facility houses dozens of cats, dogs, and other adorable critters. And all of them need a furever home.

Here, we've rounded up a list of five adoptable pets for a series called "Patch's Adoptable Pets of the Week." This week, we're featuring Spike, Pi, Lola, Mickey, and Supergirl.

SPIKE

Name: Spike - ID#A453382
Sex, Breed: Neutered male, black and tan Rottweiler.
Age: Approx. 1 year and 10 months old.
Arrived at Shelter: Sept. 17, 2020.

Shelter staff made the following comments about this animal: Spike is quite literally 100 pounds of puppy! This boy will be so excited to see you every time you come home, and he'll show you with his full body wiggles! Spike doesn't quite realize how big he is, which may make him challenging around small children. Overall, Spike is a huge goofball who enjoys getting all of the pets, romping around, and being the center of attention. He's got a personality as big as he is!
