Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Sweet Girl, Rosie, Peanut, Jet, Cloud

ROCKVILLE, MD — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at Montgomery County's adoption center. The facility houses dozens of cats, dogs, and other adorable critters. And all of them need a furever home.

Here, we've rounded up a list of five adoptable pets for a series called "Patch's Adoptable Pets of the Week." This week, we're featuring Sweet Girl, Rosie, Peanut, Jet, and Cloud.

SWEET GIRL

Sex, Breed: Spayed female, tan and white American Pit Bull Terrier.
Age: Approx. 4 years old.

Shelter staff made the following comments about this animal: Sweet Girl is just as her name suggests...sweet! She was found as a stray and stayed with a family for a short amount of time before being brought to the shelter to find her forever home. Sweet Girl has shown an interest in interacting with other dogs and could live with the right doggy companion. She stayed with children in the home that found her and could live with kids that are familiar with dogs.
