Duck Donuts In Rockville Reopening After Closing Without Warning
Duck Donuts in Rockville announced it will reopen after temporarily closing its doors without warning.
ROCKVILLE, MD —Duck Donuts has taken residents on a roller coaster ride. First, the store in Rockville announced last week it had closed until further notice. Then, on Tuesday, the company said it was reopening the next day.
It is unclear why the location at 1327 Rockville Pike initially closed. There have been no critical health code violations at Duck Donuts, according to the county Licensure & Regulatory Services Program's database.
A handful of customers commented on Duck Donuts' store closing Facebook post, demanding an answer. The eatery did not provide a specific answer, but did say the following:

On Tuesday afternoon — about a week after the company said it was temporarily closing its doors — Duck Donuts announced it was reopening its Rockville location.

The store will reopen on Wednesday at 2 p.m., according to the company's Facebook post.
