Flash Flood Watch Issued For Parts Of Montgomery County
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for parts of Montgomery County.
ROCKVILLE, MD — A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for a portion of Montgomery County until 12 a.m. on Friday. The National Weather Service issues the alert when rainy conditions has the potential to trigger flash flooding.
Affected areas include: Rockville; Germantown; Damascus; Bethesda; Rockville; Gaithersburg, Silver Spring; Jarrettsville; Columbia; Ellicott City; Jarrettsville; Baltimore; Bowie; Suitland-Silver Hill; Clinton; College Park; Greenbelt; Laurel; Camp Springs; Glen Burnie; and Annapolis.
Washington, D.C. and parts of Virginia — including Arlington, Falls Church, Manassas, Chantilly, and Purcellville — are also affected.
