Grease Fire in Rockville Restaurant Friday Morning

Firefighters quickly extinguished the small fire, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Firefighters put out a small grease fire Friday morning in a Rockville restaurant, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services.

The fire was reported around 9 a.m. in the Panida Restaurant at 15106 Frederick Road.

Firefighters arrived to find the small fire and smoke at the restaurant, according to MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer. They checked the scene for possible extensions, with a Subway restaurant next door in the shopping center.

There were no injuries and the health inspector was called to review the scene, Piringer noted on social media.
