"I'm honored to be joined by my friend and multitalented actress and entertainer Cynthia Erivo as we read stories for children who are at home due to Covid-19," said Jawando. "Being able to share story time with children around our county and the region in this medium has been incredibly rewarding for me personally. It's been a way to engage young people, educate them and foster their imagination during this difficult time. Cynthia has inspired so many young people already and I'm sure many more will be inspired by her on Friday."
Virtual story time will take place at 12:30 p.m. Parents and children can watch the livestream on Jawando's Facebook page and YouTube channel.
