The new Mayor and Council will hold its first meeting tonight. Heres What Rockville City Council would have looked like if it were up to your voting district.

Tonight's City Council meeting will be held by Rockville's new Mayor and Council.

Led by Bridget Donnell Newton—who served two terms on the council and beat fellow Council member Mark Pierzchala in the mayoral race, three new council members will take their seats at the dais.

Beryl L. Feinberg Virginia Onley, and Julie Palakovich Carr were elected to the City Council. Councilman Tom Moore won his bid for re-election.

The new council members were part of the Team Rockville slate, which defeated council candidates Donald H. Hadley, who is chairman of the city’s planning board, and Claire Marcuccio Whittaker, who is the sister of prior mayor Phyllis Marcuccio. 

But thet slate didn't win every district.
