JINYA Ramen Bar To Open At Pike & Rose

Ramen lovers take note: the first 100 guests will get free ramen when JINYA Ramen opens at Pike & Rose this August.

NORTH BETHESDA, MD — Popular ramen chain JINYA Ramen Bar will open at Pike & Rose Tuesday, Aug. 7. This will be the restaurant’s third location in the D.C. area.

JINYA Ramen Bar specializes in authentic Tonkotsu ramen boasting bold flavors and a wide variety of customizable options. JINYA Ramen Bar offers five broths as well as different tares and oils that alter the flavor profile of each dish. With various noodle types (thin, thick, extra thick and spinach) and over 25 different toppings, guests are able to customize their experience.

In addition to Tonkotsu, ramen offerings such as the Spicy Chicken Ramen, Slurp Up Cilantro Ramen, Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen, and the “Cha Cha Cha” for garlic lovers are available.

The food preparation process includes simmering the broth for over ten hours to deliver a robust, flavorful experience with handmade noodles aged for three days.

Other JINYA favorites include Salmon Poke mini tacos, JINYA Bun, Brussels Sprouts Tempura with truffle oil, Takoyaki, JINYA Quinoa Salad, and various rice bowls and curry.

“We’re thrilled to introduce JINYA to North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose,” JINYA Ramen Bar’s Hoang Nguyen said in a statement. “We absolutely love the strong sense of community and everything that Pike & Rose has to offer. We look forward to being part of this growing, vibrant community for many years to come.”

JINYA will kick off its Grand Opening starting at 11 a.m. on Aug 7. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, door prizes and other activities throughout the day. In addition, the first 100 guests will be treated to a free bowl of ramen. A portion of the proceeds from the opening day will be donated to Manna Food Center, an organization dedicated to ending hunger in Montgomery County, Maryland.

The new location, situated two blocks from the White Flint Metro stop, will be at 910 Prose Street, North Bethesda.

JINYA Ramen Bar’s space will offer seating for up to 74 guests (including a 10-seat full bar) and an outdoor patio featuring a communal table with a fire pit as the centerpiece seating 18 guests.

JINYA will initially be open daily for lunch, dinner, and Happy Hour (Sunday – Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.). Food and Drink Happy Hour specials will be served daily from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Hours may be adjusted in the near future based on the neighborhood's needs.
