Lunar New Year Invitation - From Foundations to Frontiers
"Chinese American Contributions to the Fabric of America" Tuesday, February 9, 2021, 7 p.m. ET

In celebration of Lunar New Year, you are invited to a free virtual presentation to be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, 7 p.m. ET highlighting Chinese Americans, the largest and fastest growing ethnic group within the diverse Asian American community.
The educational presentation “From Foundations to Frontiers: Chinese American Contributions to the Fabric of America” will spotlight key findings from a White Paper researched by The Economist Intelligence Unit, commissioned by Committee of 100 and sponsored in part by Citi.
Attendees will get an overview of the 175+ year immigration history of Chinese Americans and their contributions in building an economic powerhouse, strengthening national institutions and enriching the social and cultural fabric of American life. At the end, attendees will gain access to the report, which can be used to heighten knowledge about this group and to dispel stereotypes that drove an unprecedented spike in hate incidents against Asian Americans during the covid-19 outbreak. Also accompanying the report are seven thematic reports on contributions by Chinese Americans across multiple industries.
