Montgomery Co. Libraries Reopen Aspen Hill Branch
Residents are invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 15 beginning at 10 am to celebrate the grand reopening of the Aspen Hill Branch.

From Montgomery County: County Executive Ike Leggett invites residents to a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, July 15 beginning at 10 a.m. to celebrate the grand reopening of the newly refreshed Montgomery County Public Libraries’ Aspen Hill Branch located at 4407 Aspen Hill Rd in Rockville.
The refresh for the library includes new carpeting throughout the library; redesigned public restrooms to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act requirements; a new circulation and information desk; redesigned children’s area with additional seating; new teen area with café seating; five collaboration rooms; new furniture and shelving; interior and exterior painting; new accessible book drop; new information computer monitor; and light fixtures with high efficiency LED fixtures.
The Aspen Hill Chapter of the Friends of the Library will serve refreshments immediately following the ceremony. Musical entertainment will be provided by youth finalist from MoCo’s Got Talent.
