Montgomery County Parks Close Trails After Heavy Rain
After over two inches of rain soaked the area, all natural surface trails in county parks are closed until Thursday.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — All natural surface trails in county parks are closed until Thursday due to heavy rainfall that soaked the area.
Montgomery Parks announced that over two inches of rain made the trails "muddy and possibly hazardous."
"We are asking park visitors to refrain from walking, hiking, riding, or other activities on natural surface trails for at least 24 hours," Montgomery Parks officials said.
