National Cheesecake Day 2019: Where To Celebrate In Montgomery Co
National Cheesecake Day is Tuesday, July 30. Here's where to celebrate around Montgomery County.

ROCKVILLE, MD — While it may have escaped your notice, today is National Cheesecake Day. And, naturally, The Cheesecake Factory will be celebrating.
Nationwide, the popular restaurant chain is offering dine-in guests any slice from among its 30-plus flavors of cheesecake flavors at half price. In addition, The Cheesecake Factory is rolling out a new flavor on July 30th: the Pineapple Upside-Down Cheesecake.
For every slice of the Pineapple Upside-Down Cheesecake sold through February 2020, The Cheesecake Factory will donate 25 cents to Feeding America, an organization fighting domestic hunger through a network of food banks.

But let's get back to that Pineapple Upside-Down Cheesecake. It's a delightful twist on an old classic, with creamy pineapple cheesecake with maraschino cherry swirl between two layers of moist buttery pineapple upside-down cake.

Since 2008, The Cheesecake Factory has donated more than $4.6 million to Feeding America through the sale of its specially designated cheesecakes.
"National Cheesecake Day has become an annual tradition at The Cheesecake Factory that we look forward to celebrating all year," said David Overton, Founder and CEO of The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated, said in a prepared statement. "Along with offering any slice, half price to our dine-in guests, we are so pleased to mark the occasion by introducing our new Pineapple Upside-Down Cheesecake on National Cheesecake Day."
