Patricia Joyce Taylor Boido, 86, a 20-year resident of Annapolis, previously of Rockville, died on July 3, 2015 at Sycamore Acres Assisted Living in Derwood.
Patricia was born on February 27, 1929, in Washington, D.C., to the late Robert and Kathryn Taylor. She was a graduate of Georgetown Visitation High School in Washington, D.C., and received her bachelor degree from Barry University in Miami, FL in 1950. She worked as a secretary on Capitol Hill and as a real estate title secretary. She was also a homemaker, whose interests included reading 3 to 4 newspapers a day and Republican politics; she was also a parishioner of St John Neumann Catholic Church in Annapolis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Laurence E. Boido, in 2014.
She is also survived by one son, Laurence Boido III of Jeffersonton, VA; three daughters, Susan Winstead of Columbia, Denise Boido of Woodbine and Joyce Martin of Glenwood; four grandsons, Laurence IV, Dalton and Logan Boido of Jeffersonton, VA and Spencer Martin of Glenwood; four granddaughters, Ashley Jacobs of Gaithersburg, Brittany Hofman of Elkridge, Mallory and Taylor Martin of Glenwood; two great-grandsons, Landon and Tanner Jacobs.

Friends may call on Wednesday, July 8, from 3 p.m. until her memorial service begins at 4 p.m. at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery Hospice, 1355 Piccard Dr., Rockville, MD 20850 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1850 York Rd, Timonium, MD 21093.
