RPCNS Offers PEP Parenting Workshop

Rockville Presbyterian Cooperative Nursery School is hosting a PEP (Parent Encouragement Program) workshop-

Making Friends, Navigating Bullies
Among childhood challenges are difficult friendships, and so it’s a challenge for parents, as well. Watching your child grapple with feeling left out, put-down or even bullied can be very disheartening, as is watching him or her behave in disrespectful ways to others. We know that some of these experiences are typical and to be expected, yet we don’t always know how to be the most helpful. Support your child in meeting those challenges with confidence when they do arise with a greater understanding of the developing brain and some tools for encouraging resilience.
