"We believe that focusing on arts and arts activities is a way to make it different from some of the other urban centers that are around the area," said VisArts Executive Director Alice Nappy.

During the festival, Maryland Avenue, East Middle Street, and Gibbs Street will be closed to traffic. Rockville Arts Festival is conveniently located near the Rockville Metro station and a number of parking garages.
