Rockville Entrepreneur Offered $100K By Shark Tank

Robin Tacchetti invented the Biddy Buddy, a product that helps infants develop back muscles.

Local entrepreneur Robin Tacchetti has been awarded $100,000 by ABC's "Shark Tank" to help her business, Biddy Belly, get off the ground floor.

Daymond John, a regular member of the "Shark Tank" panel, offered Tacchetti the investment for a 50 percent stake in her company.

The investment opportunity was extended to Tacchetti during an episode of Anderson, which aired nationwide on Monday.

Biddy Belly is an invention that allows babies to play on their stomachs, while being supervised by an adult. According to the product's website, its "unique shape and gradual incline help promote correct muscle development."
