Severe Maryland Weather: Hazardous Outlook Issued
Rain, hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado are possible on Wednesday in Maryland, according to the National Weather Service.
MARYLAND — Another round of severe weather is forecast for Maryland.
As rain and thunderstorms roll through the Mid-Atlantic into Wednesday evening, the National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for several parts of the state.
"Scattered severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts and large hail are possible this afternoon and evening," according to the National Weather Service. "An isolated tornado is also be possible. The greatest risk exists north of I-66 and US-50."

Forecasters expect the severe weather to impact the District of Columbia, the Maryland portion of the Chesapeake Bay, the Tidal Potomac River, and adjacent counties in central Maryland and northern Virginia.
