What $1,750 Rent Gets You In Montgomery County

ROCKVILLE, MD — It's no secret: Montgomery County has some of the most expensive homes on the market. At Patch, we were curious to see what you could rent for $1,750 a month. Here's what we found:

Axis at Shady Grove Corporate Blvd., Rockville

Built in 2016, Axis at Shady Grove Apartments offers studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units located just off I-270. For $1,595 a month, you can get a one-bedroom apartment with high ceilings, expansive windows, stainless steel appliances, and a full-size washer and dryer system. You'll also get access to landscaped courtyards, outdoor grilling, and a community swimming pool.

6425 Rock Forest Dr., Bethesda

These one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments are renting between $1,650 and $1,675 a month. It was built in 2003 and comes with nine-foot ceilings, spacious walk-in closets, and a full-size washer and dryer system.

8250 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring

At Solaire, you're just steps away from some of the best shops and restaurants in downtown Silver Spring. There is one unit that is going for $1,746 per month. The one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment features wood-style flooring, expansive windows, and stainless steel appliances.

9806 Mahogany Dr., Gaithersburg

Sawyer Flats is renting a couple of one-bedroom floor plans for just under $1,750 a month. It was built in 1989 but has been renovated to include bright kitchens and bathrooms. Units boast plenty of natural light, patios or balconies, vinyl flooring, and walk-in closets. As a resident, you'll also get access to the new "Bark Park" Dog Park, clubhouse, and tennis court.

20700 Crystal Hill Circle, Germantown

To date, there are several units renting for under $1,750 a month. For the price, you'll get either a one- or two-bedroom home with a private outdoor space, gas-range cooking, and high ceilings. Adler at Waters Landing Apartments also offers residents access to two pools, a fitness center, grilling areas, a shaded tot lot, and an outdoor lounge and sundeck.
