Oyster Shells Recylable? You Bet! Drop Them Off Here
Don't throw your oyster shells away! Recycle them at the Starbucks in Severna Park.
Did you have oysters for lunch or dinner? If you threw your shells away, dig through the trash to find them so they can be recycled.
A recycled oyster shell can return 10 new oysters back into the Chesapeake Bay, according to a tip from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
In Severna Park, the Oyster Recovery Partnership website says that the Starbucks at 573 Richie Highway accepts oyster shells to be recycled.
