Here’s a look at some of the things you need to know to be in the know in Takoma Park today:

Sad to say, there’s more ahead. (Which begs the question in the title of another CCR song.) The National Weather Service says to expect our current weather pattern of mugginess with a chance of showers and thunderstorms right through the weekend.

2. Snap Your Plates, Win a Date: Well, at least somewhere to take a date. 4. More Fair Fare: Don’t like grilled cheese? No worries. The Montgomery County Agricultural Fair, which begins Friday, has plenty of other offerings to please your palate.
