Maryland Weather Forecast: Cold, Rainy And More Snow?
After a long and cold week, the weekend will greet us with warmer temperatures — kind of.
SILVER SPRING, MD — It's almost the weekend, Patchers! After a long, cold and snowy week, the weekend will greet us with less snow and warmer temperatures — kind of. It's not t-shirt and shorts weather, but the warmer weather is certainly a step up from the wrath of Storm Stella.
Friday will be cloudy and in the mid 40s before rain and snow showers start Friday night. The good news? Little or snow accumulation is expected. Saturday will be in the low 50s (a little warmer!), with a small chance of rain showers after 2 p.m. There's a slight possibility of snow again Saturday night, but only a 30 percent chance. Sunday will be partly sunny with a high of 49.
It looks like we're out of the woods regarding snow this upcoming week, with no mention of precipitation starting Monday.

Friday Night: Rain and snow likely, becoming all rain after 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 37. South wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Saturday: A chance of showers after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 53. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Saturday Night: A chance of rain showers before 2am, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. Northwest wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Sunday: A chance of snow showers before 8am. Partly sunny, with a high near 49. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 32.
Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 56.
