Friday, September 25

- Sandy Spring Museum’s art exhibit “Two for One: Photographic Combinations using the Museum Collection” is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Gaithersburg’s 24th Annual Fall Golf Classic takes place at the Clustered Spires Golf Course today.
- The 32nd Annual Middle Eastern Festival at Saints Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church in Potomac takes place this weekend. Hours Friday are 4 to 10 p.m.
- The Tayitu Cuiltural Center hosts African Poetry Night at the Silver Spring Civic Building from 6:30 to 10 p.m.
- Amel Larrieux performs at Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club at 7 p.m.
- Olney Theatre’s production of Hay Fever continues with a performance tonight at 8 p.m.
- Round House’s production of Ironbound has a show at 8 p.m. in Bethesda. This play is part of the Women’s Voices Theater Festival.
- The Damascus Theatre Company’s production of The Musical of Musicals is appearing at Gaithersburg’s Arts Barn tonight at 8 p.m.
- Peter Rowan performs at AMP by Strathmore in North Bethesda at 8 p.m.

- The 32nd Annual Middle Eastern Festival at Saints Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church in Potomac takes place this weekend. Hours Saturday are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Fall has officially arrived and with it, pumpkins are ready to be harvested! Butler’s Orchard Pumpkin Festival is back. Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The Burtonsville Day celebration kicks off with a parade at Paint Branch High School at 10 a.m. Following the parade, the festival includes live music and activities for the whole family.
- Montgomery County is participating in National Drug Take Back Day. If you have unused medications, there are numerous drop-off locations around the county for disposal from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- The InterAct Story Theatre presents The Hero of Everything at the Silver Spring Black Box Theater at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. This is interactive theater for families.
- The Sixth Annual Pan African Festival showcases cultures of African countries. The festival takes place at the Silver Spring Civic Center from noon to 10 p.m.
- Open House at the Bethesda Fire Department today from noon to 3:30 p.m.
- Imagination Stage presents When She had Wings at 1:30 and 4 p.m.
- Olney Theatre’s production of Hay Fever had performances today at 2 and 8 p.m.
- Round House’s production of Ironbound has performances at 2 and 8 p.m. in Bethesda. This play is part of the Women’s Voices Theater Festival.
- The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra performs at the Music Center at Strathmore at 8 p.m.
- The Damascus Theatre Company’s production of The Musical of Musicals is appearing at Gaithersburg’s Arts Barn tonight at 8 p.m.
- Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club present Otis Clay and Billy Price at 8 p.m.
- Chaise Lounge performs at AMP by Strathmore at 8 p.m.
Sunday, September 27
- The 32nd Annual Middle Eastern Festival at Saints Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church in Potomac takes place this weekend. Hours Saturday are noon to 4 p.m.
- The 6th Annual Montgomery County VisionWalk raises funds for research and treatment of retinal diseases. Begins at 10 a.m. at Rockville Town Square.
- Glen Echo’s “Then and Wow!” family festival features children’s rides, arcade games, videos and an exhibition on the Park’s history. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

- The Walk DC is an interfaith walk along Washington’s Embassy Row in remembrance of 9/11. It takes place beginning at 1:30 p.m.

- Actor/comedian Miles Allen performs his “One Man Breaking Bad” show at AMP by Strathmore in North Bethesda at 6:30 p.m. Allen distills 60 episodes of the TV show “Breaking Bad” into a 75 minute performance.
- The DC-Baltimore Doo-Wop Revue features performances by numerous bands at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club at 7 p.m.
- Catch a rare glimpse of a super moon lunar eclipse at Gaithersburg’s Observatory Park at 8 p.m.
