Republic Holds Fourth Annual 'Freedom Fest' In Takoma Park
Republic will host the fourth annual Freedom Fest this Fourth of July, featuring live music, barbecue, beer and more.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Takoma Park's Republic will host the fourth annual Freedom Fest, commemorating the repeal of government restriction on beer sales and celebrating the local brewing community.
The restaurant’s beer guru, Brett Robison, put together a stellar lineup of beer, music and food for this Independence Day soiree. The freedom-themed beer bash allows guests to sample as many beers as many times as they would like including unique, rare offerings from Denizens, Jailbreak, The Brewer’s Art, RAR, Manor Hill, Hellbender, 7 Locks, Oliver Ales and more. Limited release beers also available.
An outdoor stage rocks with live music while the team serves up a smorgasbord of American BBQ, including pulled pork, slaw and the crowd favorite: elotes locos, wood grilled corn on the cob slathered in cotija cheese and sprinkled with paprika and lime.
