Republic Hosts Fifth Annual Freedom Fest
Enjoy a special cookout menu and draft beers from nearby Maryland breweries at this fabulous Fourth of July event.
TAKOMA PARK, MD — Freedom Fest at Republic is an annual celebration of the unification and independence of the local brewing community in Montgomery County. Now in its fifth year, the party no longer requires pre-purchased tickets.
Executive Chef/Partner Danny Wells and Chef de Cuisine Chef Sammy Diaz will serve a special cookout menu including smoked brisket sandwiches, house-made sausage & peppers, chicken wings, Mexican street corn on the cob, mac n’ cheese and watermelon salad. Partygoers can enjoy draft beers from nearby Maryland breweries including RAR, Brewer’s Art, Denizens and Silver Branch.
As always, Freedom Fest is friendly for kids of all ages with face painting, Jenga, snow cones and corn hole.

Food and drink tickets can be purchased for $5 throughout the event. Most menu items and beers can be had for the price of one ticket, with some premium exceptions.

The event goes from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 4 at Republic, located at 6939 Laurel Ave., Takoma Park.
No pre-purchased tickets are required.
