Silver Spring Man Sentenced for 2009 Takoma Park Stabbing
The man is expected to serve 25 years of a life sentence.

A Silver Spring man found guilty of attempted murder in 2009 was sentenced Thursday to life and is expected to serve 25 years in prison, Takoma Park Police said.
On July 3, 2009, around 9:45 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the Tijuana Café in the 900 block of University Blvd. for reports of an assault that occurred within the restaurant.
The victim was in Tijuana Café when he was assaulted by Emilio Osorio-Osorio, 24, who used a knife and cut the victim in several places, police said. The victim was treated at an area hospital for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
