Takoma Metro Station Closed This Weekend

Metro delays and track work on the Red Line for June 21-23.

Metrorail's Red and Orange lines will have limited service from 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday as Metro continues track work and other improvements.

On the Red Line, the following stations will be closed: 

  • Brookland.
  • Takoma.
  • Silver Spring. 
  • Fort Totten will be open for Green and Yellow Lines only.
Shuttle buses replace trains between Forest Glen and Rhode Island Avenue. There is no scheduled work this weekend on the Blue, Yellow or Green lines.
