Takoma Park Snow Forecast: Here's What To Expect
Calls for a possible dusting Tuesday morning evaporated, but more chances are on their way.

TAKOMA PARK, MD — It's nearly February, and we're still waiting for our first decent snowfall of the year in the Montgomery County area. For snow fans out there, there are a few solid chances coming up.
We were supposed to get some snow showers Tuesday morning, possibly coating roads and creating some problems, but that threat never materialized.
The next chance comes Thursday night into early Friday, as a cold front is set to move into our area bringing some moisture with it, according to a report from the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang.

Cold rain should turn into snow Thursday evening and end Friday morning. Unfortunately -- for those who love snow -- right now there's no evidence this will be anything more than light snow. But that could change as we get closer to the date.
Our next chance is this weekend with another intriguing system moving in. We could get snow Sunday night, although the coastal low pressure system may move too quickly to give us any decent accumulation. But again, it's early, so stay tuned.
