  • Monday, Aug. 26—First day of school for students.

  • Monday, Sept. 2—Labor Day (offices and schools closed).

  • Thursday, Sept. 5—Rosh Hashanah (no school for students and teachers. Yom Kippur is Saturday, Sept. 14).

  • Friday, Sept. 27—Early release for all students.

  • Friday, Oct. 18—MSEA Conference (no school for students and teachers).

  • Friday, Nov. 1—Professional day for teachers (no school for students)

  • Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 11-12—Early release days for K-8 students and parent conferences (students dismissed after lunch).

  • Wednesday, Nov. 27—Early release day prior to Thanksgiving for all students (students dismissed after lunch).

  • Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28-29—Thanksgiving holiday (offices and schools closed).

  • Monday, Dec. 23—Wednesday, Jan. 1—Winter break (no school for students and teachers).

  • Monday, Jan. 20—Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (offices and schools closed)

  • Thursday, Jan. 21—Professional day for teachers (no school for students).

  • Monday, Feb. 17—Presidents’ Day holiday (offices and schools closed).

  • Friday, Feb. 28—Early release for all students.

  • Friday, March 28—Professional day for teachers (no school for students).

  • Monday to Thursday, April 15-17—Spring break (no school for students and teachers).

  • Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21—Easter holiday (offices and schools closed).

  • Monday, May 26—Memorial Day holiday (offices and schools closed).

  • Thursday, June 12—Last Day of school for students (early release for all students).
