- Monday, Aug. 26—First day of school for students.
Monday, Sept. 2—Labor Day (offices and schools closed).
Thursday, Sept. 5—Rosh Hashanah (no school for students and teachers. Yom Kippur is Saturday, Sept. 14).

Friday, Sept. 27—Early release for all students.
Friday, Oct. 18—MSEA Conference (no school for students and teachers).
Friday, Nov. 1—Professional day for teachers (no school for students)
Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 11-12—Early release days for K-8 students and parent conferences (students dismissed after lunch).
Wednesday, Nov. 27—Early release day prior to Thanksgiving for all students (students dismissed after lunch).
Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28-29—Thanksgiving holiday (offices and schools closed).
Monday, Dec. 23—Wednesday, Jan. 1—Winter break (no school for students and teachers).
Monday, Jan. 20—Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (offices and schools closed)
Thursday, Jan. 21—Professional day for teachers (no school for students).
Monday, Feb. 17—Presidents’ Day holiday (offices and schools closed).
Friday, Feb. 28—Early release for all students.
Friday, March 28—Professional day for teachers (no school for students).
Monday to Thursday, April 15-17—Spring break (no school for students and teachers).
Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21—Easter holiday (offices and schools closed).
Monday, May 26—Memorial Day holiday (offices and schools closed).
Thursday, June 12—Last Day of school for students (early release for all students).
