Yoga Heights To Open Second Location In Takoma

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Yoga Heights yoga studio will open it's second location in Takoma this coming fall, according to a statement from Main Street Takoma.

The new studio location is located at 235 Carroll St. NW, next to Takoma Central and Busboys and Poets. The current location at 3506 Georgia Ave. NW has been in operation since 2014.

Yoga Heights will offer all levels of vinyasa and power yoga, beginners classes, Rocket yoga, restorative and Yin yoga, prenatal yoga, bootcamps, Pilates, yoga teacher training and community events.

"We seek to empower our community to live with balance, confidence, jubilance, kindness and gratitude," the Yoga Heights website states.

Class options are set up to work with all budgets and include half price “happy hour” classes, work-study in trade for classes, as well as “Karma Passes.” New students can also take three weeks of unlimited classes for $39.

The Yoga Heights team will join Art Hop in Takoma Sunday, at the Takoma Park Farmers Market Community Corner on the corner of Carroll and Laurel Avenues. Stop by to meet the team, sign up for early bird memberships and enter to win a free class pack.
