Baltimore County Veterans Day 2017: What's Open, Closed
Trash and recycling will continue as usual, but many government agencies in Baltimore County are closed on Friday, Nov. 10.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — The nation will be honoring the men and women who have served in the military on Veterans Day, which is Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017.
Because the holiday falls on the weekend this year, the federal government is observing Veterans Day on Friday, Nov. 10. As a result, many state and local governments will be closed on Friday also.
Baltimore County government offices, and the District and Circuit Courts, will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10, in recognition of Veterans Day. Health department clinics and senior centers will be closed, and CountyRide vans will not operate, according to a statement from Baltimore County.

Operating as usual will be Baltimore County Public Library branches; parking meters, which must be fed; and Baltimore County Revenue Authority parking garages.
Trash and recyclables will be collected on schedule, and waste drop-off facilities will be open. See schedules here.

Towson University is hosting a week of events to honor veterans.
Goucher College will hold a Veterans Day service on Monday, Nov. 13.
