Baltimore County Weather Decisions For Friday, February 19
With the potential for slippery roads, Baltimore County officials issued several changes due to wintry weather for Friday.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — With Baltimore County under a winter weather advisory Friday, several schedule changes have been announced.
Baltimore County is under a winter weather advisory until noon Friday, Feb. 19, that calls for less than 0.5 inch snow and 0.1 inch ice. Drivers should anticipate slippery road conditions.
Baltimore County Public Schools will continue virtual learning Friday, Feb. 19. However, athletic practices and events will be virtual, according to authorities. Essential employees should report on time. Employees deemed "essential as needed" should report to work as scheduled (including working remotely) or may request to use leave time. Other office staff should work remotely.

Towson University is closings its campus Friday. Telework and virtual learning should continue as scheduled. Sentinel testing is canceled.

Recycling collection is canceled for Thursday and Friday in Baltimore County.
COVID-19 testing is canceled Friday, Feb. 19, through the Baltimore County health department. People can reschedule at www.baltimorecountymd.gov/covid-19/testing.
All areas of Patapsco Valley State Park are currently closed due to weather conditions. We will update at 11. Soldiers Delight is currently closed due to weather conditions. The Maryland Department of Natural Resources will give an update on conditions at 11 a.m.
