Brother James Bednar, 77, Calvert Hall College Teacher

On May 16, 2017 Brother James Bednar, FSC beloved son of the late Michael Louis Bednar and Agnes Aleshefski Bednar; devoted brother of Thomas Bednar, Agnes Bednar and the late Michael Bednar and Robert Bednar; Bro. Bednar had assignments at schools in Washington, D.C.; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Calvert Hall College in Towson, Maryland.
Brother Bednar will lie-in-state at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 8501 Loch Raven Blvd., Towson, MD 21286 on Saturday, May 20, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., when the funeral mass will be celebrated.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Christian Brothers Retirement Fund, 444 A Route 35 South, Eatontown, NJ 07724-2200.
