CAMSKNS Expands Product Line
The company now offers more than 600 decorative, protective skins for cameras, GoPros, and drones

CAMSKNS, the creator of decorative, protective skins for cameras, drones and GoPros, announced today a new business-class line of ultra-protective covers with new patterns and colors to meet the growing demand among photographers and videographers working in professional settings.
The new line offers tougher, more durable skins that are also subtle and sleek with designs like “Black Camo.”
“It is next level. The quality is through the roof,” said Colin Dougherty, Founder of CAMSKNS. “It is thicker than our normal skins, it is like a sheet of tough vinyl to protect cameras, drones and GoPros against anything that could scratch or damage the camera.”

The Black Camo design is subtle and ideal for professional photographers and amateurs who are taking pictures and capturing video at corporate events. “We have some flashy, crazy patters but Black Camo is a more corporate angle,” Dougherty said.
Dougherty started CAMSKNS, a direct-to-consumer company, out of his Charleston, S.C., home in early 2020 selling five CAMSKNS protective skins in basic colors. The company now sells more than 600 designs, patterns and colors for cameras that include Fuji, Sony, Canon and Nikon as well as Mavic and DJI drones and GoPros. Each skin is precisely cut to ensure a perfect fit. The company also produces limited designs that sell out quickly. It recently introduced the Lost City, a limited-edition Aztec-themed skin, which sold out in days.

"There are unlimited patterns that we can produce in the future, but once a limited-edition pattern is sold out, they're gone for good," Dougherty said.
CAMSKNS has cultivated a devoted following online with 33,000 Instagram followers and products featured in a TikTok video with millions of views.
"We've been pleasantly surprised by the growing number of photographers and videographers that want to give their camera, GoPro and drone some personality in addition to protection," Dougherty said. "We have an opportunity to grow substantially in the coming years by capturing a fraction of the overall camera, GoPro and drone market."
He added that the company's drone line is in its infancy, but he sees huge opportunities for growth.
“There is no slowing down,” he added. “Meeting the growing demand for these new, cutting-edge skins is a challenge, but I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue innovating in this booming market.”
Dougherty grew up in Cockeysville and graduated from Towson University in 2017. CAMSKNS is part of Towson StarTUp Accelerator 2021 cohort.
