Councilman Marks Announces Grants for Neighborhood Crime Fighting

Four neighborhoods will use the funding to implement Citizens on Patrol units.

I am pleased to announce funding for Community Crime Prevention and Youth Activity Grants in the Fifth District.
Grants will be allocated to the following neighborhoods: Ridgeleigh ($750); Towson Manor Village ($635); Perring Park ($1,080); and Cromwood Coventry ($450) in Fiscal Year 2019. Funding supports Citizens on Patrol and National Night Out activities.
I have strongly supported neighborhood crime-fighting initiatives, and I salute those residents who work with our police to improve public safety in their communities. This money goes a long way.
