New Baltimore Co. Police Chief To Meet Public At Town Halls

Baltimore County residents can meet Melissa Hyatt, the new police chief, at three upcoming town hall meetings.

(Baltimore County)

TOWSON, MD – County Executive Johnny Olszewski Jr. announced Thursday that he will host three public safety forums with Melissa Hyatt, the newly confirmed Baltimore County chief of police.

The goal of these town hall hearings is to listen to residents and business owners. All county residents are invited to attend the forums.

"These will be more listening sessions than us speaking," Olszewski said in the statement. "Chief Hyatt is excited to get out and meet the community, and we want to hear from our communities about public safety concerns and collaborations."
