Residents rallied against a proposal to to construct a firehouse on Towson Manor Park.
More information on the location of a new Towson firehouse could be coming in the near future.
Ellen Kobler, a county spokeswoman, said data from a study analyzing prospective sites for the firehouse will be released "sooner rather than later." She did not confirm that the announcement would name a specific site for construction.
"We're very actively still looking into it," Kobler said.

County officials plan to sell the current Towson Fire Station, the North Point Government Center and a police substation in Randallstown. Any remaining proceeds would benefit school improvement projects, including installing air conditioning at Dumbarton Middle School.
