One side of Interstate 695 was temporarily closed due to a crash, officials said.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Interstate 695 is back open after three hours of lane closures that stemmed from a crash Wednesday morning, officials say. At one point, the outer loop was closed in the area of Charles Street, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash on I-695 at the exit for Charles Street, which occurred after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, according to state transportation officials. The outer loop was closed, and so was the left shoulder on the inner loop.

By 1:40 p.m., the Maryland State Highway Administration advised all lanes had reopened, and the crash had cleared.
