Junior Achievement of Central Maryland is holding a free series called "Find Your Voice" aimed at teaching public speaking and personal communication techniques to high school students.
Three sessions will be led by Speak America founders Bart Queen and Glenna Griffin and participants "are required to attend all three," according to a press release.
"By attending the sessions, students can build the confidence necessary to do such things in their future as give a speech in their college class, win over a potential employer in an interview, or even handle social interactions with their friends and family more effectively," according to the press release.
