BALTIMORE, MD — The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for Baltimore County and Baltimore City until 10:30 p.m. Friday. During the flood warning period, flooding has been reported in the Towson, Mt. Washington and Hampden areas, resulting in road closures, rescues and an evacuation.

Crews handled two separate water rescues Friday afternoon, Baltimore County Emergency Management reported at 4:40 p.m.

"Multiple cars have either driven or attempted to drive past the closed road sign," officials said. Authorities advise people to turn around — don't drown — if they come upon a barricade or a flooded road.
