UPDATE: Police Arrest Boyfriend of Formerly Missing Dulaney Student

The 23-year-old Perry Hall man has been charged with making a false statement to police.

(Update 8:57 p.m.)— The boyfriend of Aria White, the Dulaney High School senior who went missing on Saturday and was found Thursday, has been arrested for making a false statement to police.

David C. Givens, 23, of the 3700-block of Timahoe Circle in Perry Hall previously told police that White was at his home starting on Saturday and was picked up by someone on Christmas Eve, said Cathleen Batton, a county police spokeswoman. When an officer went to follow up with the boyfriend, White, 17, was discovered at the house.

Givens has been released on his own recognizance, police said in a news release.
