Gas Station Fire On York Road: No Injuries Reported

Heavy fire was showing when crews arrived at the gas station in Baltimore County Saturday, officials said.

TIMONIUM, MD — A gas station with convenience store caught fire Saturday morning on York Road, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department, which reported the hazmat situation was controlled within 20 minutes.

Crews encountered heavy fire at the business in the 2400 block of York Road around 7 a.m., officials said.

They quickly knocked the blaze, and no injuries were reported.

By 7:20 a.m., authorities said the fire was under control; power was secure at the convenience store and gas pumps; and there was no threat to the community.
